We’re delighted to welcome Alex Tosetti as Wild Streets’ Funding Advisor. In the months to come, Alex will provide the necessary advice and strategy building to help us meet our goals in both the pre-seed stage and the seed funding stage, enabling the development of an advanced prototype of Wild Streets in the near future.
“Wild Streets is a game changing app that enables the decarbonisation of cities through co-creation, stakeholder consultation, digital visualisation and using the very latest AR tech,” says Alex, who brings over 30 years’ experience in the built environment sector, working on many of the iconic masterplanning and placemaking projects that have transformed London and UK cities in the last three decades.
Alex is one of the first premier environmental consultants pioneering the role of sustainability and environmental impact for developments in the early 1990`s. He is a recognised expert in the field of regeneration utilising the very best of multidisciplinary professions to deliver outstanding developments that make an impactful difference. Alex sits on many industry advisory boards to help steer policy and lobby Government for change, and is Chair of the Environmental Industry Commission and a member of the Construction-Tech Club. Alex`s career has been at Executive C-Suite level in large global corporates, such at URS and Aecom, growing teams up to 1000 and handling revenues up to £100m.
More recently Alex has championed the use of technology within the Smart Cities agenda and worked with many corporate enterprises and start-ups to help the property and construction sector transition into providing more innovative and efficient digital solutions. Over the last 3 years Alex has been CCO of VU.CITY the award-winning 3D digital visualisation platform which claims the largest digital twin in the world, that of London. During his tenure, he was responsible for the commercialisation and fund raising, rapid growth of revenues, client relations, a further 25 cities modelled, and an enhanced brand recognition throughout the industry.
